The College Station Spirit are excited to announce the signing of forward Braden Shea to a tender agreement for the 2016-2017 season.

Shea is a native of East Grand Forks, Minnesota where he played varsity hockey for the Green Wave of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). He played three years of varsity hockey at East Grand Forks High School, winning two Minnesota State Class A Championships. As a senior last season, he played in 25 games and registered 7 goals and 11 assists for a total of 18 points.

Speaking about Shea, Spirit Head Coach and General Manager Nick Bydal said, “Braden is a big kid and an all around great athlete. He can get up and down the ice extremely well and has the ability to finish. Braden plays well at both ends of the ice and is someone I look to play in all situations. We are excited for what Braden brings to the Spirit and the possibilities of what he can help us accomplish.
