The College Station Spirit are excited to announce that goaltender Nick Hart has signed a tender agreement with the team for the upcoming season.
Hart is from Rosemount, Minnesota where he played hockey for the Rosemount Irish of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) during his high school career. He split time for his first two seasons of varsity hockey before taking the reigns as the team’s primary starter last year. As a senior, he played in 20 regular season games and had a Goals Against Average of 2.71 (GAA) to go along with a Save Percentage (SV%) .910.
Speaking about Hart, Spirit Head Coach and General Manager Nick Bydal said, “Nick is a good-sized goalie that is athletic and takes up a lot of net. He was the number one goalie for Rosemount High School who lost to eventual section Champions. Nick is a great kid with a great work ethic. We look for him to compete for the number one job in net and are excited for what he brings to the team.”
