The Spirit recorded a shutout against the Brahmas 8-0 in home game

The College Station Spirit's defense had a poor night, allowing the Texas Brahmas 26 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Kellen Ireland and never looked back.

Cameron Tobey contributed with 2 goals and Kyle Cote chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Ireland opened the scoring for Texas with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:44 with a helper from defenseman Croswell. Cote netted a goal at 17:51 with an assist from defenseman Walsh. Shimamoto quickly followed with a goal at 18:34 with helpers from his linemates, Ireland and Weycker.

During the second, Tobey scored a goal at 2:07 with an assist from defenseman Croswell. Kasai deposited a goal at 13:37.

In the third period, Tobey put in a goal at 3:28. Cote netted a goal at 8:28 with helpers from his linemates, Weycker and Bersani. Croswell scored a goal at 11:50 with an assist from his teammate Cote.
