The Spirit recorded a shutout against the Capitals 6-0 in home game

The College Station Spirit's defense had a poor night, allowing the Atlanta Capitals 38 shots throughout the game. The Atlanta Capitals took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Brody Nielsen and never looked back.

Jason Ladzinski contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Cole Thomas Johnson did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Nielsen opened the scoring for Atlanta with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:01 with helpers from his linemates, Carlo and Johnson.

In the second period, Johnson put in a goal at 2:43 with helpers from his linemates, Smith and Cornic. Ladzinski deposited a goal at 7:48 with assists from his linemates, Nielsen and Carlo.

During the third, Carlo scored a goal at 4:12 with assists from his linemates, Nielsen and Ladzinski. Nielsen put in a goal at 18:20 with helpers from teammates Moore and Carlo. Medure quickly followed with a goal at 18:58 with assists from Steh and Opie.
