The Spirit recorded a shutout against the Ducks 7-0 in home game

The College Station Spirit's defense had a poor night, allowing the Point Mallard Ducks 27 shots throughout the game. The Point Mallard Ducks took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Fletcher Chun and never looked back.

Mason Evans did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Fletcher Chun chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Chun opened the scoring for the Ducks with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:51 with a helper from defenseman Goodman. Weinland quickly followed with a goal at 8:39 with a helper from his teammate Kendall.

During the second period, Evans scored a goal at 1:05 with assists from Lopez and Anderson. Scherberger quickly followed with a goal at 2:52 with an assist from his linemate Landers. Trombly quickly followed with a goal at 4:17 with a helper from Chun.

During the third, Stepp put in a goal at 1:39 with an assist from defenseman Laplante. Green scored a goal at 11:10 with helpers from Evans and Halpert.

This loss brings the College Station Spirit’s record to (1-15-0-0).
