The Spirit recorded a shutout against the Jr. Stars 6-0 in home game

Jake Ange posted a shutout, stopping all 10 of the College Station Spirit shots throughout the game. The Mid Cities Jr. Stars took the lead early in the first on a goal from Mason Martin and never looked back.

Brandon Speights had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Conor Simpson contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Martin opened the scoring for Mid Cities with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:01 with a helper from Kesling.

During the second, Simpson netted a goal at 5:29 with helpers from his linemates, Kesling and Speights. Sheridan deposited a goal at 9:29 with assists from his linemates, Smith and Martin. Schulz quickly followed with a goal at 11:10 with helpers from teammates Simpson and Harrison.

In the third, Hutton scored a goal at 17:38 with assists from Speights and Fugger. Speights quickly followed with a goal at 18:38 with helpers from his linemates, Sheridan and Brain.

This loss brings the College Station Spirit’s record to (1-17-0-0).
