The Spirit struggled against the Drillers 11-1 in home game

Drew Pehrson came up big, stopping 51 of 62 shots throughout the game. The Louisiana Drillers took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Drew Wotta and never looked back.

Cole Bloemer did his part, adding 2 goals and Drew Wotta had a busy night with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Jeffries opened the scoring for the Spirit with a goal at 0:41 with helpers from Sawicki and Davis. Morgan answered for Louisiana with a goal at 4:39 with assists from his teammates Morgan and Smith. Wotta netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:55 with helpers from Vukasin and Zittel. Credeur put in a goal at 13:04 with assists from Zittel and Wotta. Sarver quickly followed with a goal at 13:35 with a helper from defenseman Morgan.

During the second, Alspaugh scored a goal at 10:42 with assists from Jorajuria and Dolese. Bloemer quickly followed with a goal at 10:52 with helpers from Alspaugh and Jorajuria.

In the third, Jorajuria netted a goal at 4:01 with assists from Alspaugh and Zittel. Watzka quickly followed with a goal at 4:46 with helpers from Wroblewski and Smith. Jorajuria scored a goal at 12:39 with assists from Alspaugh and Dolese. Wotta put in a goal at 16:05 with helpers from Smith and Morgan. Bloemer deposited a goal at 19:35 with an assist from defenseman Smith.
